As the experts at Lava Corp design the rack layouts a rack elevation drawing is completed, which provides them with important information. First, they can determine the electrical requirements of the equipment making sure all the wiring is correct. Technicians can then test all the equipment before the final install. Secondly, if space is an issue, the Lava Corp designers can determine the optimal equipment sizes to ensure that everything will fit. And third, these drawings also allow Lava Corp technicians to program each product to work out any bugs before the final install. And finally, the generated heat from the system can be calculated, then sent on to the HVAC contractor to make sure the appropriate cooling requirements are planned for.

Any time you have a project requiring construction adjustments, elevation drawings need to be used. It's also important these drawings are used in theater design if you would like to accurately replicate the audio and video resonance that a director intended when he (or she) filmed his movie. In other words, to be a Spielberg, it takes a little more than just sitting behind the camera. The same goes when designing the ultimate home theater (takes a little more than a great flat screen, awesome remote and some super radical speakers).

Plan View Drawings and Wiring Schematics

Lava Corp uses plan view drawings when designing for locations where technology is positioned throughout the facility, whether it is a home or office. These plans give the Lava techs a roadmap of where wiring needs to be pulled. No random guessing or cold calculations allowed. As well, wiring schematics are used by Lava Corp to show how the system is hooked up throughout the home. These schematics are helpful in case our technicians need to perform a rack build, preprogram anything, and become familiar with how all the other subsystems are integrated.
